Registration available until August 1st, 2024
KICKBACK&VIVE registrations will be available until August 1st, 2024. After this period we will not accept late registrations, and failure to sign up by this time will make your team ineligible for our first event, KICKBACK&VIVE - Volume 1.
Teams, Region and Streaming
The tournament consists of 20 teams and will be played on the North American servers with every match broadcasted on twitch.tv/kickbacknvive. We allow full rebroadcasting of the official broadcast, or teams broadcasting their POVs. We recommend a small delay to prevent any issues.
Prizing
1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams at the conclusion of the Final Round will receive the distributed prize pool.
Rules & Guidelines
Substitutions
Each team is required to submit one substitute; if a substitute is not available, communicate to a Tournament Organizer (TO). All 4 players per team in the ongoing match must be in the assigned OOO Tech Voice Channel for their team. Listed substitutes are not required unless playing in the live match. If you need to elect a new substitute, ping a Tournament Organizer in the #Tournament-Help discord channel to assist you at least 15 minutes prior to the match.
Hunter Selection
If a player locks in the wrong Hunter, they will adhere with their pick. We will not be remaking games for incorrect hunter selections.
Help & Assistance
Any issues should be introduced in the #Tournament-Help discord channel. A tournament organizer will respond to your issue. Please do not spam help or assistance issues and wait patiently.
Failure To Appear
Failure to show up to the matches at your designated time (15 minutes prior for lobby preparation) without notice, will result in suspension from future events.
Additional Notes
All Staff decisions are final. (If organizers say the game should be remade, it will be remade.) Staff reserve the right to modify the rules as needed. Players must understand that rules listed are guidelines to ensure fair and competitive play and are subject to interpretation by the administrators based on the spirit of the game.
